For over 15 years, Ajay Dutta Vyas has proudly called the Turks and Caicos Islands home. What began as a professional journey in the hospitality industry soon grew into a deeper commitment to the community and the future of its young people.
From his earliest days on the islands, Ajay recognized the incredible potential within the youth of Turks and Caicos. Inspired by a desire to create meaningful opportunities for the next generation, he dedicated himself to initiatives focused on improving the lives, education, and future prospects of children across the community.
Driven by this passion, Ajay founded the Island Scholars Program TCI (ISP TCI) with a clear and powerful vision: to support high-achieving students in the Turks and Caicos Islands and help them reach their fullest academic and personal potential. Through the program, students are encouraged to excel in academic competitions, pursue prestigious scholarships, and gain access to educational opportunities that can shape their future.
More importantly, Ajay believes that education is not only about personal success—it is about building a stronger nation. His hope is that students who benefit from these opportunities will one day return home equipped with knowledge, experience, and leadership skills to contribute to the continued growth and development of the islands.
Ajay firmly believes that the future of the Turks and Caicos Islands rests in the hands of its children. As a community, he believes we all share the responsibility to nurture their ambitions, support their dreams, and empower them to strive for excellence.
Because when young minds are given the opportunity to grow, the entire nation rises with them.

Christel So-Chantoiseau founded the Island Scholars Program TCI with a simple but powerful vision: to help students discover their strengths, believe in their potential, and confidently shape their future.
Her passion for education began early in life. Growing up, Christel watched her mother dedicate her career to guiding students and parents through some of the most important decisions of their lives. She saw how the right advice, encouragement, and mentorship could transform uncertainty into opportunity. Witnessing those moments inspired Christel to follow a similar path—one focused on helping young people realize that their dreams are possible.
Today, based in the Turks and Caicos Islands, Christel works closely with students and families to make the journey toward higher education clearer, more structured, and more empowering. She provides thoughtful academic planning, practical career guidance, and dedicated support for students exploring study-abroad opportunities and scholarship pathways. Her approach is centered on building confidence, offering honest guidance, and creating a supportive process at every step.
Through the Island Scholars Program TCI, Christel’s mission is to help students see beyond limitations and recognize the opportunities available to them. She encourages young people to dream boldly, prepare with purpose, and pursue their goals with determination.
Because when students believe in what’s possible, their future can reach far beyond borders.
